MIL-A-24533 Actuators, Rotary, Hydraulic, Rack And PinionThis specification covers the requirements for material, design, fabrication, and testing of rack-and-pinion hydraulic rotary actuators for Naval shipboard use. The actuators convert hydraulic power to a rotational output. The primary application for the actuators is in remote operation of various ship systems┬┐ components.

4.4  Ouality conformance inspection.  Quality conformance inspection shall
consist of the examinations and tests listed in table II (see 6.3 and 6 6).  Each
rotary actuator shall be subjected to quality conformance inspection.

4. 5 Test conditions
Test conditions shall be as specified herein and in
the applicable specification. sheet
4.5.1  Test fluid,  Unless otherwise specified (see 6.2), the test fluid
shall be in accordance with MIL-H-17672, 2135-T-H
